Multimedia show company ECA2 has created Songs of the Sea, a multi-sensory spectacular set in the sea off Siloso Beach on Singapore's Sentosa Island. Island.
Featuring a centrepiece consisting of a 120m long fishing village structure, Songs of the Sea is a combination of lights, lasers, fire effects reaching 20m in height and water jets hitting the 40m mark, together with computer images projected onto giant water screens.
There is also a daily display of pyrotechnics.
The attraction - said to be unique because there are no barriers between the show and nature's elements - runs two 25 minute shows every night all year round.
The venue has an open air viewing gallery capable of seating 2,500 visitors.
ECA2 is a part of Publicis Events Worldwide Group and has produced a number of permanent, semi-permanent and one-off shows, all over the world.
These include permanent shows at Sea World and Universal Parks in USA, Planète Futuroscope in France, and Holiday Park's 'Aquascope' in Germany.
The company is also credited with major multimedia shows such as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 1998 Football World Cup, the 2000 Fireworks Spectacular at the Eiffel Tower, the 8th All Africa Games Ceremonies (Abuja, Nigeria) in 2003 and the 12th Paralympic Games Ceremonies (Athens, Greece) in 2004.
